ANJALAI AMMAL MAHALINGAM ENGINEERING COLLEGE (AAMEC), KOVILVENNI was started in 1995 under the self-financing scheme by Mazdoor Welfare Trust. The founder Sri M.Namasivayam with a long-term perspective vision identified a serene and calm atmosphere at Kovilvenni on the Thanjavur- Nagapattinam National Highways NH-67 for developing the college. His devotion, selfless service and thrust of mission have given this college an all round growth. The college now owns 60 acres of land. The buildings to accommodate the academic activities have been meticulously planned and developed. All necessary infrastructure facilities have been sufficiently brought up to meet the academic advancement of students and staff.
